How does it work?

How to order groceries

  • Decide what you want to order and where you're going to buy from. Our customers regularly buy from Asda, Waitrose, Tesco and Ocado. Ask our advice if you're not sure. 
Unlike some companies we have no maximum grocery order value. So you can order as much grocery shopping as you like (from multiple suppliers, if you wish) at present you CAN NOT order chilled goods but we hope to have that facility available in the very near future.
  • Book your slot on the schedules & collection points page and you will be given a time and date for your shopping to arrive at our depot for collection. Please note there is a £5 + VAT booking fee to secure your slot, this will be deducted from your total shipping charge.
  • Go online to your chosen supermarket/retailers. When registering, use your name, i.e. Mrs J Smith c/o Shipmyshopping.com. Use your own email address and our depot address and telephone number.   • PLEASE NOTE at present you CAN NOT order chilled goods but we hope to have that facility available in the very near future.
  • Book your delivery in the UK with the supermarket/retailer. ALL ORDERS MUST ARRIVE IN OUR DEPOT BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON THE DATE WE SUPPLY TO YOU, TO ENSURE THEY ARE LOADED FOR DESPATCH ONWARD TRANSPORT TO SPAIN
  • Do your shopping, complete your order and pay online, as normal.
  • Forward a copy of your on-line receipts to orders@shipmyshopping.com when you receive them (please use your invoice number in the subject line). This confirms the booking and gives us the information we need to manage your delivery.
  • Once we have received all your orders in our UK depot and have the final total amount of the cost of your orders we will issue you with an invoice for the total shipping cost by email. This amount will be 25% or 30% (depending on the collection point you have chosen) of your total bill minus the £5 booking fee plus UK VAT or a minimum charge of £25 or £30 (depending on the collection point you have chosen) if your order is less than £100. PLEASE NOTE, NO ORDERS WILL LEAVE THE UK UNTILL THE INVOICE IS SETTLED IN FULL.
  • Your orders are delivered to the depot/drop spot you have chosen in Spain on the selected day.
  • You can keep up-to-date with the delivery vehicle on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Payment 
When your groceries are delivered to our UK depot we will send you a payment request via email all deliveries must be paid in advance by either Bank transfer (faster payments), PayPal/Card. Please note no items will be shipped without cleared payment in advance.

How to order non-grocery items

This is exactly the same as groceries.
  • Decide what you want to order and where you're going to buy from. Our customers regularly buy from Argos, B&Q, DFS, eBay, Homebase, Ikea, John Lewis, ScrewFix and many, many others. The choice is endless - and it's yours!
Other shipments
For removals, boats, cars or bulk orders - Contact us at book_a_delivery@shipmyshopping.com for a quote for the delivery. We will email you back with a price. Please note that all quotes are valid for 30 days from the date given and are normally from our depot to the drop point.
  • Once you have accepted our quote, book your slot with book_a_delivery@shipmyshopping.com and you will be given a time and date for your items to arrive at our depot.
When your items arrive at our depot, you will be notified and given a proposed onward delivery date.

We are not able to give you a time before the day of delivery, but can give you an estimated time once your items have crossed the Channel. 

Payment
